Description
Effective July 1, 2020 – California Department of Public Health has implemented a mandatory $36 processing fee per student for lead courses in California. This is included in course fee.
Pre-requisite: California Lead Worker Training Course
This course is for those individuals who already took a lead worker course (24-hours) and are interested in becoming a Lead Supervisor or Project Monitor by taking this 16-hour lead-related Supplemental Lead Supervisor/Project Monitor course to fulfill the training requirements.

Third-Party Exam: The Lead Abatement Supervisor or Lead Project Monitor Certification exam fee is $70 for each discipline, see https://www.cpshr.us/exam-registration/CLPPCE/schedule/
To apply for new CDPH certifications, you should complete an online CDPH/CLPPB application after passing the third-party exam. Include the following:
1. Online Application https://www.cdph.ca.gov/Programs/CCDPHP/DEODC/CLPPB/Pages/LRCcertprocess.aspx
2. Proof of Training, via the CDPH Course Completion and Photo (digital)
3. Proof of Experience
4. Fee – $135.00
NOTES:
Your certification must be renewed annually.
Every other year you are required to attend a 7-hour general continuing or continuing education for workers (refresher) class before you can renew your certification.
If it has been more than 1 year since you completed your CDPH-approved training, you must take 7 hours of CDPH-approved Continuing Education before applying for certification.
If it has been more than 3 years since you completed your CDPH-approved training, you must take the full course over again before applying for certification.
